Queen Elizabeth and the deputy first minister Martin McGuiness had a MeetUp in Belfast recently this has nothing to do with the IRA though. The meetup was a reflection about reconciliation and how things are going in Northern Ireland. Some of the images captured were the Queen and Martin shaking hands. This image is about handshakes so you know how to greet people properly, you can learn a lot from this image.
Martin McCauley writes from Belfast: They say Northern Ireland’s Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness’s handshake with Queen Elizabeth II was historic. (Allegedly, she asked him what he did for a living and he blushed and replied: ‘I’m a politician, these days, ma’am.’)

The post today takes an balanced view of reconciliation in Northern Ireland and honours how well Northern Ireland is doing. The Queen Elizabeth II this year celebrated 60 years of reign and the televised events and atmosphere here in London has been great.
So with that said an info graphic has been mashed together of both Martin and the defender of the faith the Queen with elaborate images that I found interesting and help understand the topic more.
- Just a bit of background the British Queen was born in 1926 and was crowned in 1956.
- IRA as an acronym is short for Irish Republican Army and first came on the scene in 1916 they scaled their organisation up after the Irish War of Independence (1919-1921).
- Martin McGuiness was born in 1956 and he is due to resign from the House of Commons it was announced this month.
Martin likes Gaelic football and hurling which are both very popular in Northern Ireland. He has helped a lot with peace treaties here in Britain. Ireland is a great place to go for a game of golf.
So if you are looking for reconciliation there and are curious to know more about the IRA and Martin McGuiness and wish to know more about the peace treaty.
Both Ireland and the UK are working towards creating more employment for youth and everyone else.
Just a sub note Ireland and its economy is doing surprisingly well even though reports show the Euro is struggling. Ireland has strong ties with Spain and Ireland places a good role in Britain's thriving economy despite the struggles. You just have to have a bit of faith that everything will be ok reconciliation has always been possible, Meetup are great for this sort of thing and Northern Ireland is a great place for a meetup, so well done Queen Elizabeth.
